What are some challenges suggested by Lindquist's work?
Because these Literacy Corps interviews matter, we should see and engage with them directly. We should let some of these people and these artifacts speak, in part, for themselves.
We can’t allow ourselves any longer to be, with talking about without also listening to them. To accomplish this feat, we need publication venues that allow us to present work that may include alphabetic print, but also offer.

But except at the moment of contact -- interview, text composition, or video -- aren't all these artifacts always mediated? So we can see these artifacts in their original media and format, but in order to be available to others, the artifacts are perforce de-contextualized and must be so in order to be useful.
